What a fantastic day at the City of Salisbury, SA, Australia Community Fun Day where families could enjoying everything #nature has to offer .
It was such a joy to see people of all ages stop in wonder at the incredible life cycle display—caterpillars, food plants, cocoons, and butterflies. The awe on little faces (and big ones too!) was truly heartwarming.
We were so grateful to be there alongside long-time volunteers Bob and Sarah both Butterfly Conservation South Australia SA members - your knowledge and passion made the experience even more special. Thank you for sharing so generously.
If you love butterflies and nature too, why not become a member of Butterfly Conservation South Australia or subscribe to their newsletter? You’ll learn so much, see what they do, and discover other #volunteering opportunities—just like we did.
We're sharing this today as part of our Environment Tuesday —days like this remind us how powerful it is when communities come together to learn, connect, and celebrate the natural world. Here's to more of these wonderful opportunities to inspire and grow together.
We even purchased a copy of Butterfly Attracting Plants to add to the garden at our #close to city" home - Butterfly Home"
