We recently had the pleasure of celebrating our finalist position for the SA Tourism Awards with a special dinner at Jasmin Indian Restaurant, an iconic hidden gem in Adelaide, nestled in Hindmarsh Square. With over 44 years of history, this family-owned restaurant is renowned for its delicious Indian cuisine and warm atmosphere.
If you're a fan of authentic Indian food, this is a must-visit! The service was exceptional, and the menu offered a fantastic variety of dishes, all masterfully spiced and paired with a diverse selection of beverages, including some wonderful South Australian wines.
Jasmin’s story began in 1980 when Mrs. Singh-Sandhu, committed to her family recipes and the art of blending spices, turned this small unlicensed eatery into an Adelaide institution. You’ll love the vibrant atmosphere and might even catch a glimpse of stunning artwork by a famous artist on the walls!
And don't miss the beautiful historical fountain just outside, bathed in city lights, offering a perfect view of Adelaide as you head in for an unforgettable dining experience.
